Dr. Lodeiro’s medical journey began at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Lodeiro pursued a general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, where he also completed his vascular surgery fellowship.
After finishing his fellowship, Dr. Lodeiro recognized a significant need in the Knoxville area for advanced limb salvage care. He found that Apex was the only center in the region offering cutting-edge technologies for limb salvage, making it an ideal place for him to practice.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Lodeiro is married to Megan, a fellow surgeon specializing in bariatric surgery, and together they have two daughters. In his free time, Dr. Lodeiro enjoys fly fishing in the mountains near Knoxville and traveling to catch rare fish. Balancing his dedication to vascular surgery with family life and outdoor activities, Dr. Lodeiro is committed to providing exceptional care for his patients.
