APEX Vascular Outpatient Center, LLC is located at 460 Medical Park Dr Suite 105, Lenoir City, TN, 37772. The single-story facility boasts approximately 4,000 square feet of treatment space, equipped with the latest technology. Located in Loudon County, it offers patients from Knoxville and the Lenoir City area free and convenient parking, easy access, and a knowledgeable staff of trained vascular specialists.
Our team of experts, which includes highly-trained and specialized vascular and microvascular surgeons, is passionate about helping patients preserve their limbs and avoid amputation through alternative vascular treatment and care.
We look forward to serving patients during our convenient hours of operation: Thursdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
To make this center truly one-of-a-kind, we are also proud to be pursuing accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare Inc. (ACHC). Once completed, the ACHC certification would make our vascular outpatient center the first of its kind in Tennessee and one of a select few across the United States.

Dialysis Access Maintenance
For patients with chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis, we perform the minimally invasive procedure to create dialysis access first, and then offer comprehensive care to ensure the longevity and functionality of the access.
Vein Treatments
Our team of experts specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various vein disorders, from varicose veins to deep vein thrombosis (DVT). We use the latest minimally invasive techniques to achieve optimal outcomes and preserve venous function.

Dr. Christopher Pollock, Dr. Umashankar Ballehaninna, and Dr. George Lodeiro are highly skilled vascular and microvascular surgeons who will serve patients at the new outpatient center. Christopher Pollock, MD, FACS
Dr. Pollock is a board-certified vascular surgeon serving patients across Knoxville, Lenoir City, and Crossville, TN. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. Since completing his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia in 2003, he has offered comprehensive vascular care across East Tennessee. Dr. Pollock remains active in professional societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery.
Umashankar Ballehaninna, MD, FSVS, RPVI
Dr. Ballehaninna, known as “Dr. B,” is a board-certified vascular surgeon specializing in both vascular surgery and general surgery. With expertise accredited by the American Board of Surgery, he employs advanced techniques, including minimally invasive and open surgical procedures, to treat various vascular conditions, focusing on limb preservation. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ballehaninna is passionate about teaching, research, and advancing vascular surgery. He is an active member of professional societies, including the Society of Vascular Surgery and the Eastern Vascular Society.
George Lodeiro, MD, RPVI
Dr. Lodeiro is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with a passion for advanced limb salvage care. As a first-generation Cuban American, Dr. Lodeiro offers bilingual care, enhancing accessibility for Spanish-speaking patients across East Tennessee. His recent fellowship and education ensures he brings cutting-edge expertise and the latest vascular surgery techniques to APEX Vascular Outpatient Center, LLC. Dr. Lodeiro is also an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and Southern Association for Vascular Surgery.
